Plastic Waste Facts.
Plastics are a challenge
Globally plastic waste is one of the most challenging waste materials to deal with. Plastic items can take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills, increasing landfill volumes annually.
Breakdown
Annually over 300 Million metric tons of plastic are created. In 2014, about 33 Million metric tons were created in the US. 75.5% went directly to landfills. 9.5% was mechanically recycled, and 15% was combusted in WTE plants.
The Oceans
Estimated annually 5 to 13 Million metric tons of plastics are littering our oceans.

OUR TECHNOLOGY
Gasification:
A GREEN ENERGY ALTERNATIVE
Gasification is the clean, efficient conversion of biomass into a synthetic gas in an oxygen-starved environment. This process simplifies solid waste management by utilizing cost effective green gasifier equipment.
This technology can process:
- Agricultural and animal waste
- Tires and rubber products
- Municipal biosolids
- Woodchips
- Scrap pallets/Construction
- Bark or green wood
- Commercial waste
- Food processing waste
- Feedstock 'blends'
TYPES OF GASIFIERS:
DOWNDRAFT GASIFIER
The downdraft gasification process cleanly converts biomass-based waste into a
synthetic fuel gas that can be used to produce electricity. This process reduces landfill usage and carbon footprint. It has been proven with over 50,000 hours of commercial production.
FLUIDIZED BED GASIFIER
The fluidized bed gasifier utilizes a different technology to solve biosolids disposal problems faced by municipal waste water treatment plants and industrial customers. The system has been proven to cleanly reduce volume by as much as 95%.
